Craftsmanship born over years: the history of the E.G.M brand

E.G.M. is more than just a business decision.

E.G.M. is a name, the culmination of many years of journey, from custom-made tailoring in the atelier since 1988 to a modern identity in the world of high-quality leather goods.

It all began with a needle, thread, and a passion for perfection. In the haute couture atelier, where every stitch was an act of respect for the material, the principles that would later become the brand’s philosophy were laid: attention to detail, a deep knowledge of leather, and technological discipline. In the late 1990s, this craftsmanship evolved into outerwear production, with a unique quality control system where mass production did not compromise quality. Each piece seemed to be hand-sewn.

2003 marked a turning point. Production shifted to producing bags for the Italian brand. This wasn’t about changing its focus—it was about growth: from local to global, from good to perfect. The experience gained here became the foundation for my own path.

2010–2014 – a new project, new challenges. Until it was closed due to a lack of funding. This moment became a turning point: «Stop working for other people’s brands,» Evgeny and Yulia decided.

In 2014, the idea was born. In 2016, the EGM company was officially registered.
It was then that the name began to denote not just production, but a philosophy:
Quality as a tribute to tradition.
Design as an extension of meaning.
Leather as a living material, not just a cover for an accessory.

2021 marked the end of the legal existence of the EGM company. But not the life of the brand.
The trademark was transferred to ProModa, but the spirit of E.G.M. remains with those who created it. The founders continue to lead the project, pouring not only their experience but also their heart into it.

Today, E.G.M. is more than just bags. This is a story you can touch.
