Selection of materials is a complex and labor-intensive process. In the conditions of the modern world, materials undergo many tests before becoming an EGM product. What we did not have twenty years ago in our work, and we have a lot of experience, are some tests. For example, many simplify technologies, due to which we have tests for scratch resistance and water resistance. If in the case of scratches we cannot completely abandon delicate leathers. Then if the leather is afraid of water, namely, it swells and deforms, then it is considered defective.
